I’ve always loved real estate—whether it was scrolling through listings just for fun, tackling DIY home projects, or searching for the perfect place to call home. In the first five years of marriage, my wife, Becki, and I bought, sold, and lived in four different homes (in two different states), using each move as an opportunity to build equity and gain hands-on experience. After all that packing and unpacking, I figured it was time to turn my passion into a career (and hopefully avoid moving again for a while).

Before becoming a REALTOR®, I attended Ohio University, gaining a communications degree and spent 15 years in creative services, working as a video editor, project manager, broadcast video engineer, vice president of operations, and general manager. That experience sharpened my ability to stay organized, negotiate deals, and solve complex problems—skills that now help me guide my clients through one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.

I know firsthand that buying or selling a home can be both exciting and stressful. My goal is to take the stress out of the process, keep things straightforward, and maybe even make it a little fun along the way. And with the Shaffer Team and Howard Hanna behind me, my clients get the best support in the business.

I was born and raised in rural Southeastern Ohio and have spent most of the past 11 years in Central Ohio (with a quick detour to sunny Tampa, Florida). I'm thankful to have lived everywhere from a dirt road in the middle of nowhere, to downtown Columbus, to the 'burbs, and everywhere in between. When I’m not working with clients, you’ll probably find me taking my daughters, Lily and Juliet, to a local park, working on a DIY home renovation, attending church with the family, or trying to convince Becki to hop on the back of the motorcycle for a ride down some Ohio backroads.
